This exquisite vintage 1960s Italian white raffia bridal cap is in beautiful condition, and exceptionally feminine. A pretty tudour rose design is skilfully woven into the raffia, and appears slightly embossed due to the nature of the material. The cap is reminiscent of a medieval crown - the band encircling the head is 3 inches wide, leaving the hair exposed. There is a single central band across the top that finishes in a rose at both the front, over the forehead, and at the reverse above the neck. The front of the cap is consolidated with a delicate, wide set bow.
The circumference measures 22 inches ( 56 cm) , the width measures 8 inches ( 20.5 cm), and the depth 4.5 inches ( 11.5cm ). From the front to the back over the top of the head to the reverse, it is 12 inches ( 30.5 cms).
